More about what I do...

Workplaces
I always ensure I gain a full understanding of the strengths, challenges and areas of responsibility of employees so that I can identify key areas and use creative solutions to meet their needs. This results in a healthier, happier and more productive workforce.  I also use my extensive knowledge and experience to advise at a leadership level to help to develop Neurodiversity friendly work environments.

School Support
I offer a comprehensive consultancy service to schools which includes staff training, carrying out audits, creating action plans, taking on projects to help reduce SENCO work-load, assisting in managing difficult situations and much more. Testimonials can be provided from Head Teachers and SENCOs with whom I have worked if requested.

Dyslexia Assessments
I take time to work with both a young person’s family and school when carrying out assessments, so that a practical and effective way forward can be mapped out from the results. It is important to me that when a need is identified, an appropriate plan is then set up to ensure that those needs are met with the right provision.  I also carry out assessments with adults.

Reviews -

"Corinne, through Dyslexia Wise, was able to ensure statutory requirements were in place for SEND pupils, including successful applications for EHCPs. Her support for parents/ carers during this time was exceptional. Staff at all levels (leaders, teachers, support staff) appreciated her advice and guidance. During the covid-19 initial lockdown period she provided remote welfare check ins and support to children and families and maintained contact which was vital during this period. Efficient and effective systems and procedures were brought in quickly, which enabled an easy handover when a substantive SENCo was appointed. With a high SEND caseload at the school, her expertise was invaluable."Clare Greene (Executive Headteacher, Bath and Wells Multi-Academy Trust & Evidence Lead in Education for West Somerset Research school)

"I would highly recommend Dyslexia Wise to anyone with a child struggling with dyslexia.  My dyslexic son was helped hugely by the very knowledgeable advice we received from them.  It's a steep learning curve for a parent who is new to dyslexia and we were so grateful to be guided in the right direction.  My son is now an avid reader and one of his favourite lessons at school is English! So a big thank you to Dyslexia Wise!" - Kate (Parent)
